All That Breathes And Its Tragic Unavailability On Indian OTT

To serve you a great entertainment update, let’s confirm that the Indian documentary All That Breathes has won the American Cinematographer Award for best documentary.

Although it is not a very big name in Award shows, it is still a part of a long queue of trophies that All That Breathes has bagged till now. But what is the tragedy we are talking about?

Back in January, soon after the announcement of Oscar nominations, the news of this documentary coming to OTT was announced. Binged fairly remembers informing its readers about the potential release of All That Breathes on either Hotstar or Prime Video.

Since the 7th of February, the documentary is indeed streaming on HBO Max. Sadly, HBO MAX is unavailable in India so you can’t watch it there. But usually, most of the HBO Max content streams on Disney+Hotstar.

Now that the dynamics have changed, all HBO content will soon be moved from Hotstar so there might be a delay from that end.

But whatever the case may be, it is indeed tragic so far that the highly celebrated Indian documentary is not available in India but in many other countries outside.

“All That Breathes” has been nominated for the Oscars and it may very well bag the award too, but the long-due OTT release is indeed a sad thing. Regardless, congratulations to Shaunak Sen for so much appreciation.
