All The Other Mothers Hate Me: New series From ‘The Bear’ creator!

After a long run of biddings for the rights of a debutant author’s novel, ‘The Bear’ creator Christopher Storer has secured the deal. He will be adapting the novel ‘All The Other Mothers Hate Me’ into a series for FX.

‘All The Other Mothers Hate Me’ is a novel written by Sarah Harman, who is a journalist by profession. This is her first novel and she is also expected to write the screenplay of the show when work starts. The novel became a huge hit in the Frankfurt Book Fair but it will not be formally published till 2025.

The book will most probably deal with a complex psychological subject. It tells the story of a woman who holds some beliefs about her son killing off a wealthy man’s son in the school.

Christopher Storer rose to fame with his exceptionally well-executed comedy drama ‘The Bear’ which received huge acclaim from audiences as well as critics. The Bear told the story of an award winning chef who returns to his hometown to take care of the messy kitchen of his brother’s sandwich shop after the brother dies. The first season got 13 nominations for the Emmy Awards and was rated 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Bear too was an FX project and it streams on Disney+Hotstar in India. The release date, cast and other details are not known yet but it will take some time for the show to go on the floors. Probably, ‘All The Other Mothers Hate Me’ too will stream on Disney+Hotstar here in India.
