Amazon has dropped the official trailer of ‘The Wheel of Time’ Season 2.
Based on Brandon Sanderson and Robert Jordan’s novel, the upcoming season will revolve around Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski), who learned he was The Dragon Reborn in Season 1. He is destined to save the world… or break it.
Season 1 shows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike) searching for The Dragon Reborn. Her quest leads her to the Two Rivers region, where she encounters four young residents, believing one of them is the actual reincarnation of the Dragon.
The seventh episode of the first season revealed Rand as The Dragon Reborn. We witnessed him battling the Dark One in the season’s finale. He attacked the Dark One with the sa’angreal and fractured his power. Though, he failed to kill him.

“Threats new and very old seek out the young friends from the Two Rivers, now scattered over the world. The woman who found and guided them is now powerless to help, and so they must find other sources of strength. In each other, or themselves. In the Light … or the Dark.”
