Amazon Prime Video’s Dongri To Dubai Gets Its Lead From Laila Majnu

Excel Entertainment which has been behind web series like Inside Edge, Mirzapur and Made In Heaven is all set to start a new one. It is called Dongri To Dubai and one of their most ambitious productions. It is based on a bestselling novel of the same name.

The casting for Dongri To Dubai commenced some time ago. Many popular film and TV personalities like Jatin Gulati, Prachi Shah Pandya, Lakshay Kochhar and Angira Dhar are already cast for essential parts. However, when it comes to the central protagonist, there has been some delay. Finally, it is over.

Actor Avinash Tiwari who made a sensational debut (in terms of reviews) with Laila Majnu is roped in to play Dawood in Dongri To Dubai. He was recently seen as one of the actors in the ensemble cast movie, Ghost Stories.

The series will be for Amazon Prime Video platform. All the series that Excel Entertainment has produced so far has been for Amazon Studios only. The association has delivered some incredible work, and the fans would be hoping for a repeat with Dongri To Dubai.
