Amazon Prime Video’s Top 10 Films & Shows: Gehraiyaan, Mahaan

OTT giant Amazon Prime Video houses a list of the top ten titles streaming in India on the platform. As of today, the title which has topped the aforementioned list is Shakun Batra’s romantic drama movie ‘Gehraiyaan’.

While the second and third spots are held by Vikram starrer action thriller movie ‘Mahaan’. Moreover, in the fourth place is none other than Allu Arjun starrer action-drama ‘Pushpa: The Rise’.

Also on Amazon Prime Video’s top ten list in India is the action thriller show ‘Reacher’, spy thriller ‘The Family Man’, the Malayalam comedy-drama film ‘Meow’, and Telugu sports comedy movie ‘Good Luck Sakhi’.

10. Mahapurusha

It’s the Kannada version of the Vikram starrer film ‘Mahaan’. The film’s underlying premise revolves around a man’s journey from an ordinary teacher to an influential liquor brewer. In the film, Vikram plays the titular role of Gandhi Mahaan and the goings-on take an interesting turn when the billionaire protagonist begins to miss the presence of his son (played by Dhruv Vikram) in his life.

9. The Family Man

A Raj & DK’s creation, the show follows the daredevil adventures of a middle-class family man (brilliantly played by Manoj Bajpayee), who balances his quotidian family life with an elite, high-risk job of being a world-class spy. While keeping his job a secret from his family, the show follows his mission to protect his country from terrorists at any cost.

8. Good Luck Sakhi

Helmed by Nagesh Kukunoor (Director – Iqbal, Dor), the sports comedy movie features Keerthy Suresh as a woman named Sakhi who supposedly brings bad luck to her fellow villagers. After her fiancé dies in an accident prior to their marriage, Sakhi decides to train to become a national-level sharpshooter.

7. Meow

Helmed by Lal Jose, the Malayalam comedy-drama film revolves around a general store owner Dasthakeer (Soubin Shahir) residing in UAE and whose wife Sulu (Mamta Mohandas) abandons him and their three children owing to some marital issues. How he manages his home in his wife’s absence forms the rest of the film’s plot.

The first part of the Telugu action-drama flick features Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna.
