Amazon Prime Video‘s next Indian original ‘Tandav’ is certain to shake up the Indian OTT space, if news coming in from that end is anything to go by. The web series has a lot going for it, in terms of its plot, script and the eclectic cast and crew working on it.
Tandav is a political thriller, created along the lines of hit American political drama, House of Cards. The story and screenplay has been written by Gaurav Solanki, co-writer of the compelling Bollywood movie, Article 15.
The series is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of Bollywood hits such as Bharat, Tiger Zinda Hai, Gunday and more. Tandav will mark Ali Abbas Zafar’s debut in the digital space.
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is headlining the series, his next foray into the web world, after his successful Sacred Games outing. Mitron actress Kritika Kamra will play his leading lady, while Purab Kohli also has a pivotal role in the series.
