Family Man Season 2 is delayed. Sadly. But as the saying goes, patience is a bitter plant but bears sweet fruit; hence we are sure the Manoj Bajpayee starrer will be back with a bang. Come on, if we could wait for Mirzapur Season 2 for one and half years we could surely wait some more time for The Family Man S2.
We know that the old actors are there for the series but one famous name that’s been added to the list is that of Samantha Akkineni. Yes, the beautiful South India actress is going to make her digital debut with The Family man S2 and her Instagram is the proof to it. Samantha is elated about her involvement in the webseries as she said in an interview that she feels lucky to be debuting in the digital world besides such great personalities.
She recently also acknowledged how OTT has helped evolve the Indian Cinema in a positive manner by bringing various genres and extremely interesting and challenging content for the audience as well as the actors. She also mentioned how it has helped the women of the industry in moving forward and being powerful leads in such web series and movies. Her words hold extreme truth as we have over the years seen how Indian Cinema has been to women and the game has totally changed with the entry of OTT and digital content in the scene. She has deemed the digital world to be a boon for everyone, as it has helped every technician to get into some form of work or the other, helping the industry to grow bigger and better. She always thought that she would make her debut on the OTT world as this is the most “in” thing at the moment. She is elated beyond words to be a part of such a team and that her debut is coming with a series that as recieved immense love from the people.
As for The Family Man S2, it will be picked up right where it ended. With Manoj Bajapyee and his team colliding with Zulfikar and his gang, this time their location will be London. With brand new twists and turns, emotions and relationships drama, we believe this will be worth the wait.
As of now, the shooting for the series is completed. It’s in the post-production and editing stage, as the pandemic has slowed down its pace, everything is being carried out online. The initial release was December but now has been further pushed till February 2021. There aren’t any confirmed dates as of now, but the makers have assured that it will come up during the month of February itself.
