Amid 'Emergency' Controversies, Kangna Ranaut Gears Up For Next!

It is not uncommon for superstars in any industry for that matter, to have their careers fizzle out in broad daylight. Padma Shri and Filmfare Awardee Kangna Ranaut, an actress whose slate spans multiple genres through titles like ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Simran’, ‘Queen’, and more, is one of those unfortunate names.

As more and more of her upcoming films get entangled in a mess after mess, she stands resilient. Which is to say, Ranaut will next be seen in ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’. Although most details are being kept under the wraps, all that is known so far is that the plotline will follow the ‘extraordinarily remarkable accomplishments of an ordinary person’.

This comes following the controversies that her most recent film ‘Emergency’ has become caught up in. The film which was initially slated for a September 6 release, depicts the story of India’s former prime minister Indira Gandhi. The Kangna Ranaut directorial is under scrutiny for the sensitive period of Indian history it deals with: the Emergency declared by Gandhi, back in 1975.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’, directed and written by Manoj Tapadia, also seems to be centered around a topic of national relevance, as the name suggests. Will it become yet another entry in the unending list of Ranaut’s ‘controversies’?

Stay tuned to find out!
