The Angry Birds are getting one more brand new series and fans are excited. ‘Angry Birds’ was the sensational childhood game for most kids and it is associated with the emotions of many. There are multiple screen and cinema adaptations of the classic game, and now one more has been announced. The new series will be named ‘Angry Bird: Mystery Island’.
The series will feature actors like Harvey Guillén, Dominic Monaghan, Nasim Pedrad and Kate Micucci. Harvey Guillén is known for his role in ‘What We Do in the Shadows’. Nasim Pedrad, on the other hand, is a known face because of SNL sketches. And Dominic has been previously seen in ‘Moonhaven’. The series, again, will tell the story of Mia, Rosie, Buddy, and foreign exchange piglet Hamylton who get catapulted into a strange island and they have to get to know their surroundings and the mysteries of the island to survive.
The project will be produced under the banner of Titmouse Productions. Eric Rogers, who has written animated shows like Futurama, Brickleberry, and Skylander Academy will act as the showrunner, head writer and executive producer. The first adaptation from the game was in 2016 which got a sequel pretty soon. Angry Birds also got an animated limited series on Netflix.
It is good news for fans of the Angry Birds game and who are still somehow nostalgic about how it had been closely related to their childhood. It has not been announced when the show will premiere. The makers have nor released other details regarding the rest of the cast and crew as well.
