In a recent interview, veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has shed light on his upcoming projects. He has revealed that he will next be seen in an out and out action drama named ‘Subedar’. Subedar will be produced under the banner of Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and it will be directed by Suresh Triveni.
Suresh Triveni has previously directed films like ‘Tumhari Sulu’, starring Vidya Balan and Manav Kaul and ‘Jalsa’ also starring Vidya Balan. Subedar, for a change, will be an action drama with a male lead. The shooting will most probably start by the end of this year. As the joke still continues to make us laugh, Anil Kapoor never grows old. So it will be hard to guess whether he will be playing the father or the son.
Anil Kapoor will be seen in another project apart from Subedar. He will be starring in the Hindi language remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Android Kunjappan Ver 5.25’. Android Kunjappan tells the story of a elderly father who does not want his son to go to Russia to study. But the son brings an Android robot to take care of him and the father develops a deep bond with him.
Anil Kapoor is going to be seen in many interesting projects. He will be there in a very important role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. A biopic of Indian Olympian Abhinav Bindra is also in the works. After the grand success of ‘The Night Manager’, a second season of the show is coming soon. With so many grand projects and films in the pipeline, Anil Kapoor is having an awesome run in the industry.
