Yesterday we told the world about the glorious success of Animal. We all expected the film to rake up a high number of views but this kind of success was also expected…
Why so?
If you notice then all South Indian films put separate audios for the different audios they have. For instance, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi would have separate files and it would divide the views into 5 different sections.
It is not the case with Animal however. All the audios are in a single file and the views are the combined views in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
So, obviously, the views had to be higher than that of usual South Indian films.
On the other hand, the case of Salaar is very interesting. You must remember how we hailed the response to the film in the first weekend.
But, Animal ate up the film in the second week. The response was dismal and the film failed to attract the audience when a giant like ‘Animal’ was already there.
If you see the full numbers then Salaar stands nowhere close to Animal. Let’s also consider the fact that Animal’s views are only for the weekend while we have the full week run of Salaar.
Well, such things are inevitable and ups downs define the entertainment industry.
