‘Ankahi Kahaniya’, an anthology film comprising of three unique love stories from three accomplished filmmakers of the industry is coming to Netflix on 17th September but before that global streaming giant presents a brand new sneak peek into the beautiful serene love sagas of ‘Ankahi Kahaniya’.
The story promo released by Netflix for ‘Aankahi Kahaniya’ gives a glimpse of what each of these three stories are about. The first one featuring Abhishek Banerjee and directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari with a story from Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain and Nitesh Tiwari is about a man falling in love with a mannequin. He carries it with him to places and often talks to it. His loneliness in a big city where he doesn’t have anybody to talk to might be one of the reasons why he found a unique love in a dummy.
The second story of is that of a young boy and girl who are shy enough to talk to each other but stealing looks in public is their thing. Also, cinema seems to play a major role in their relationship. This story of Ankahi Kahaniya is based on the Kannada story ‘Madhyantara’ by Jayant Kaikini and is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. It stars Rinku Mahadeo Rajguru and Dellzad Hiwale in the lead.
Next comes a story from Zeenat Lakhani and Saket Chaudhary where the latter serves as its director as well. Starring Kunal Kapoor and Zoya Hussain in the lead it’s about a couple whose relationship is falling apart and they know that besides there being a reason behind it there’s also a hope of rebuilding it.
Netflix’s ‘Ankahi Kahaniya’ is an anthology film that promises to take viewers through an intriguing journey of love, longing, relationships and many emotions. Three gripping stories from three powerful directors and a versatile cast are three factors that make ‘Ankahi Kahaniya’, coming exclusively to Netflix on 17th September, 2021, a must watch.
