On the one-month anniversary of his death, actress Ankita Lokhande posted on Instagram for the first time with a picture of a diya and flowers against a background of a temple and captioned it “CHILD Of GOD 😇”
Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput worked on Pavitra Rishta together and remained together for 6 years before breaking up in 2016. She was seen at his Bandra residence last month and has stayed in touch with his family after his untimely demise.
The actor’s rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty also remembered him by penning an emotional note on social media saying, “You are the one who made me believe in love, the power of it. You taught me how a simple mathematical equation can decipher the meaning of life and I promise you that I learnt from you every day. I will never come to terms with you not being here anymore (sic).”
Meanwhile the Mumbai Police has been investigating the actor’s death and brought over 35 people for questioning in the enquiry and are planning to call more people in the next few weeks to bring closure to his family and fans.
The actor’s last film ‘Dil Bechara’ is all set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24th.
