Anne Hathaway To Star In Pandemic Themed Heist Flick!!

Anne Hathaway is set to star in the romantic heist comedy Lockdown, which will feature the on-going pandemic as the main backdrop of the film. While most of us are stuck indoors during the pandemic resultant lockdown, a group of dodgy individuals are planning a heist during these terrifying times; or at least that is what the main characters of the film Lockdown are going to be attempting.

The project will be penned by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and will be helmed by The Edge Of Tomorrow director, Doug Liman. Both Liman and Hathaway are in the final talks to work on the film. The movie will be shot in England, primarily in London.

The project is said to be an under 10 million dollar budget film with Stuart Ford’s AGC studios fully funding, while P.J. Van Sandwijk is set to produce the feature film along side Alison Winter. CAA Media arranged the funding, who also represents Hathaway, Knight and Liman in legal matters.

The film is set to begin shooting by the end of the month of September. Many key roles have yet to be assigned, with Cillian Murphy being one of the actors being considered for a role for some time (not much anymore). Liman is also set to direct film with Tom Cruise in space (yes, outer space) in collaboration with Elon Musk and NASA. P.J. Van Sandwijk is set to direct that film as well.
