Another Month, Another Court Controversy at Netflix India!

Just look at the trend. In April, Amar Singh Chamkila was released on Netflix India which has some pretty controversial things as it digs facts from the past.

Then came May. Half of the people don’t even know the difference between courtesans and prostitutes. Thus, there was a baseless campaign that Netflix India is glorifying prostitution. However, the matter didn’t go to court.

Next up was Maharaj. The film went to court and after a week’s delay, the film was released. However, it was so bad that Netflix India should have abandoned it.

Now, the next thing is Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper. ICAI got offended at the mere fact that the character of CA is shown as a male prostitute in the film.

Yes, just imagine what policemen, landlords and politicians can do if they start getting offended by the long history of villainization in the Indian film industry.

Regardless, the matter is now in the Delhi High Court and Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper is due its release in two days i.e. the 18th of July.

Till now, there is no speculation of any censorship. But stay tuned as we will keep you posted on every update. Stay tuned for Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper.
