It is a no brainer, even for die-hard fans of the ‘theatre’ experience that ticket prices are a buzzkill. And not just for solo moviegoers, but also those who prefer enjoying films with friends and loved ones. To the respite of such fans, PVR INOX has introduced the ‘PVR INOX Passport’, a movie pass of sorts to permit users to frequent theatres further due to reduced prices.
However, to the utter disappointment of avid fans, the PVR Passport has turned out to be quite the fiasco. Not only does it not allow fans to redeem their vouchers for most Hollywood and recently released Indian titles, the multiplex chain is also lacking in refunding the users’ money.
Moreover, these are not the first instances that have been reported. The PVR Passport has been giving users trouble for quite some time now. Even users well within the ‘Terms and Conditions’ agreement are not being allowed to redeem their vouchers.
Not only does this come at a financial loss for users throughout the country, it serves as an added negative to the brand’s already declining business. This also comes after several users reported being bombarded with spam messages and calls in the aftermath of their information being leaked.
