Anushka Sharma will finally make her debut in the digital domain, not as an actor, but as the producer of a web series. Her upcoming web series will soon stream on Amazon Prime Video. The actress took to her official Instagram account, to share a hard-hitting promo of the upcoming series.
The caption accompanying the promo is in the Devnagari script, and reads,
“Sab badlega, samay, log aur lok….”

Judging by the promo, the narrative is apparently centred on religious and social bigots out to destroy the very fabric of the country. In that way, it reminds one of Netflix’s Sacred Games. The promo features a man in silhouette, with a sword in hand, which he slashes menacingly to orchestrate deep blood-stained gashes.
The cast of the upcoming series includes stellar actors such as Gul Panag, Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Jagjeet Sandhu, among others.
Writer-director Hardik Mehta is associated with the upcoming web series. He recently released his well-received directorial debut film, Kamyaab, which has won rave reviews from critics.
