The bond between Amazon Prime and Aparna Purohit has been since nine years. Together, they have brought the platform to such a great place that it has become one of the most popular OTT platforms with super hit shows like Mirzapur, The Family Man, and Farzi. Now that she has resigned, Prime Video will need another personality to take over the position and maintain its flavor.
It’s also been said that Aparna Purohit is going to join Amir Khan’s production house as the CEO. The production house has been behind movies like Delhi Belly, Taare Zameen Par, Peepli Live, Secret Superstar, and many more.
Recently, they have produced a beautiful movie called “Laapataa Ladies,” which has received great response after its OTT release. Involvement of Aparna Purohit might also benefit Amir Khan in his much-awaited upcoming movie called “Sitare Zameen Par.” Considering Amir’s personal acting career, which hasn’t been great since “Thugs of Hindostan,” this might help him.
