Judd Apatow‘s new comedy movie ‘The Bubble‘ has been released in Netflix on April 1st. The ensemble cast includes some amazingly talented actors- Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow (director’s real life daughter), Fred Armisen, Maria Bakalova, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann(director’s real life wife) , Kate McKinnon, Pedro Pascal, Peter Serafinowicz and Guz Khan. The film will be co-financed by Apatow’s long term collaborator Barry Mendel under their Apatow Productions company. The story is co-written by Apatow and Pam Brady. It’s about a group of actors trying to shoot the sixth movie of a blockbuster action film franchise about flying dinosaurs titled Cliff Beasts 6 while they’re quarantining at a hotel in London.
The runtime of the movie is 2 hours and 4 minutes, and each and every minutes seemed so interesting and funny that no one will get bored. ‘The Bubble‘ offers a satire on how the celebrities suffered while they were trying to shoot the sequel amidst pandemic. It’s a movie within a movie about a group coming back together after five years to fight for mankind’s biggest danger, a dinosaur species known as Cliff Beasts. The expected battle will take place in Mount Everest, as it has been implied in the previously released faux title ‘Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest : Memories of a Requim.’
Netflix shared a post on Twitter making the announcement of the movie release- “A group of self-centered actors must quarantine together in order to finish shooting the sixth installment of a blockbuster action franchise. Who will break first?!
Judd Apatow directs the absolutely stacked ensemble comedy cast of THE BUBBLE—now on Netflix.”
