Apoorva Lakhia’s Raftaar For Voot Is On Track, More Details About The Spy Thriller Inside

Apoorva Lakhia is a director whose career spans nearly two decades. However, it has been stagnant for the past few years with no real success in ages. His entire career has been about Shootout At Lokhandwala that came way back in 2007.

Since then, it has been one monumental failure after the other. It finally led Apoorva Lakhia to the digital world. The director is making an action series for Voot. The announcement was also made in the early summer last year.

After almost a year, we have an update regarding the progress of the action series. The shooting is happening at a fast pace with some well-known faces playing key roles. Saquib Saleem, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Ankur Bhatia and Iqbal Khan are some of them.

The latest to join the list is a model cum actress Waluscha De Sousa. The actress will be seen essaying a crucial part in the spy thriller which is tentatively titled as Raftaar. She has recently been seen as a host of the ninth season of popular Star Plus show Nach Baliye.

Voot, which is not big into original content production, is making series with quality in mind. The team would be hoping that Apoorva Lakhia delivers and makes the most for himself and also for brand Voot, in the process.
