After their recent collaboration announcement with Zee5 Global’s Indian subcontinent-focused programming block Zindagi, Applause Entertainment has today announced the world premiere of the Zindagi Original ’Farar’ at the 14th annual Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2023.
Written by Rida Bilal and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, ‘Farar’ follows three women – Huma, Tania, and Sabrina in their 20’s and 30’s as they find their way through life, love, and the challenges of living and following their dreams in the sprawling, unforgiving metropolis of Karachi.
‘Farar’ stars Sarwat Gilani, Hina Khawaja Bayat and Saleem Mairaj in prominent roles. Produced by Shailja Kejriwal, Umnia J. Iftikhar, Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal, ‘Farar’ will premiere on 23rd September, 2023 at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2023.
