Leading production house Applause Entertainment took to social media earlier today teasing the ‘Scam 1992’ fans with a video of Pratik Gandhi to unveil a surprise just a couple of days after the show completed a year of streaming. And while many predicted it would be related to season 2 of the ‘Scam’ franchise, the makers had something else planned.
What was just a tune but got everyone grooving has now been released in full version by Applause Entertainment. And this longer version doesn’t disappoint. Telling the story of Harshad Mehta, his love for taking risks and living a life with flamboyance, the song captures the essence of his character and the show pretty well.
The music video produced by The Curios Moustache Ent features portions from the show and is kind of a character build up for Harshad Mehta that also ultimately led to his downfall in the show.
A catchy mix of Gujarati and Hindi lyrics from Karan Vyas and Manthan Kamani with rap in between, the full theme song has been sung by Vatsal Joshi and Atharva Joshi. The original music for the song has been composed by Achint while Jeremy Fonseca has done the recording and mix.
Bhavin Gohil and Prakram Singh Rathore have created the concept for the video and are also its creative directors. Graphics have been handled by Hoshedar N. Vesuna and editing has been done by Jai Singh Yadav.
