Apple has unveiled the brand new trailer for ‘Masters of the Air’ war drama series, starring Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Barry Keoghan.
The series is definitely getting some serious attention from viewers after the recent release of its teaser, which came out nearly three weeks ago.
Well, we have a full-length trailer now, and it promises that the show will be a thrilling ride containing plenty of emotional and inspirational scenes.
The trailer’s opening scene shows Butler’s Major Gale Cleven talking with his wife as he plans to leave her for the war and team up with Major John Egan (played by Turner).
Apart from Butler and Turner, the new trailer also gives a brief look at Barry Keoghan’s Curtis Biddick and Ncuti Gatwa’s Robert Daniels. Both of their characters will be lieutenants in the upcoming series.
Developed by the duo of John Orloff and John Shiban, ‘Masters of the Air’ series takes inspiration from Donald L. Miller’s 2007 novel. It will cover the actions of the prominent 100th Bombardment Group of the US Army Air Forces during the Second World War. The series will serve as a companion to HBO’s Band of Brothers (2001) and The Pacific (2010).
Made on a humongous budget of $250-300 million, ‘Masters of the Air’ will come out on the Apple TV+ streaming platform on January 26, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
