It’s not even been 10 days since Apple TV+‘s CODA won the best picture award at the Oscars. Needless to say, it has strengthened the way Apple TV+ sees itself let alone the others. But within these days only, it has become too difficult to keep count of the shows that were announced by the platform. The latest to join them has to be Chief Of War, starring Jason Momoa in the lead role.
Not only will The Aquaman actor headline the series but also serve as the writer in the same.
The series will consist of 8 episodes and will talk about the colonisation and unification of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view.
This is the second collaboration of Jason Momoa and Apple TV+ after their apocalyptic drama See.
However, this will mark the debut of Momoa as a writer in some series.
This is a big announcement and will definitely take time before it finally becomes available for streaming. But yet again, so much activeness by the platform can definitely be seen somehow related to their win at the Academy which further boosted the frequency with which Apple TV+ makes shows.
Stay tuned to Binged as we will keep you updated about all the developments in this and every other important series/movie on OTT.
