Apple TV+ Foundation Season 2 Release Date Out, Watch The Trailer

The Empire’s undoing is near! Apple TV+ has dropped the official teaser of Season 2 of Foundation, one of the streaming platform’s big-budget projects. The series serves as an adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s novel series.

Viewers may witness the end of the empire in the second season. As the latter embraces religious extremism, the rebellion among the people also begins to grow. The show focuses on the journeys of four individuals. According to the official synopsis, fans will see these characters “transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity.”

Season 1 culminated with Brother Day discovering that the rebels have polluted the DNA of Cleon I and the clone’s genetic samples, deteriorating the process of producing pure clones. In the meantime, Gaal returns to Synnax 130 years ahead. There, she encounters Salvor, who accidentally landed on this planet before Gaal. For many years, he also looked for Gaal. Foundation Season 2 will take place almost 100 years after the events of the first season’s finale.

Created by the duo of Josh Friedman and David S. Goyer, Apple TV+’s Foundation debuted in September last year. The first season consists of ten episodes.

The latest clip has revealed Season 2’s release date, July 14. All new episodes will stream weekly.

Foundation Season 2 has a well-talented cast of Lee Pace, Jared Harris, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Chipo Chung, Clarke Peters, and many more performers.
