The special event will feature multi-Grammy award winning legendary artist Carey along with a star-studded line up of surprise guest appearances. The show’s premiere will also coincide with the 25th anniversary of Carey’s iconic holiday song “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
As per Apple, “The innovative special will combine music, dancing and animation driven by a universally heartwarming story that brings the world together.”
This special holiday event on Apple TV+ will be directed by BAFTA Award winner Hamish Hamilton and Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Roman Coppola, who will also executive producer the project. Mariah Carey will also act as executive producer along with Ian Stewart, Raj Kapoor and Ashley Edens for production company Done + Dusted.
‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special’ will premiere globally on Apple TV+ this holiday season.
