Apple TV+ Greenlights ‘The Last Frontier’ Starring Jason Clarke

Apple TV+ has today announced its upcoming new original series ‘The Last Frontier’ from creators Jon Bokenkamp (‘The Blacklist’) and Richard D’Ovidio (‘The Call’).

‘The Last Frontier’ follows U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick, the lone Marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska, whose jurisdiction is turned upside-down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates.

Tasked with protecting the town he’s vowed to keep safe, he begins to suspect the crash wasn’t an accident, but the first step of a well-crafted plan with international political implications.

‘The Last Frontier’ stars Jason Clarke in the lead role. He is known for his roles in projects like ‘Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty’, ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, ‘Chappaquiddick’, ‘Everest’, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’, ‘Mudbound’, ‘First Man’. He will soon be seen in ‘Oppenheimer’.

Produced by Apple Studios, the pilot of ‘The Last Frontier’ will be directed by Sam Hargrave (‘Extraction’) who also serve as executive producer alongside Bokenkamp, D’Ovidio and Clarke. ‘The Last Frontier’ will premiere soon only on Apple TV+.
