Ted Lasso is easily the most popular show on Apple TV Plus, and one of the most loved shows at large. And now, everyone’s beloved small screen character Ted Lasso will soon be back in Season 3 of the show. For those who don’t know, Ted Lasso Season 3 will premiere on Apple TV Plus on 15th March. Apple TV Plus has just released the first trailer for the series, enough to amp up the excitement of fans sky high.
The Ted Lasso Season 3 trailer starts off by giving us glimpses of our favourite characters from the show — the man himself, Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis), Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham), Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein), Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins) Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt), Keeley Jones (Juno Temple), Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster), Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh), and of course, Nate Shelley (Nick Mohammed). Oh yes, and we also get a glimpse of fan favourite character, Trent Crimm (James Lance).
Ted Lasso Season 3 will see an epic and entertaining face-off between Ted Lasso, coach of AFC Richmond, and his erstwhile assistant, Nate Shelley, who’s now coaching rival team, West Ham United. AFC Richmond has clawed its way back into the English Premier League, but is widely expected to finish last in the table. Roy Kent has taken on the job of assistant coach at AFC Richmond, while trying to sort things out with romantic partner, Keeley and her PR agency ambitions.
Apple TV Plus will premiere Episode 1 of Ted Lasso Season 3 on March 15, which is a Wednesday – a first for the platform, and a departure from its usual Friday release pattern. Subsequent episodes of the new season of Ted Lasso will premiere every Wednesday.
In a potential disappointment for fans of the show, Ted Lasso Season 3 might be the final season of the popular series. The official announcement from Apple TV Plus is awaited.
