Just a day after the debut of ‘Severance’ season 2 finale, Apple TV+ has announced the renewal of its globally hit workplace thriller for a third season.
According to Apple TV+, ‘Severance’ season 2 is breaking records as it becomes the most watched series on the streamer. The series comes from executive producer and director Ben Stiller and creator, writer and executive producer Dan Erickson.
Emmy and Peabody Award winning drama, ‘Severance’ stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Zach Cherry, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus, Dichen Lachman, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette.
In Season 1, Mark Scout (Scott) is a team leader at a shady biotech company called Lumon Industries, a firm that performs an experimental severance procedure on its employees thereby dividing their memories between their work and personal lives. When Mark finds himself at the center of an unravelling mystery, he is forced to confront the reality and soon enough along with his colleagues he launches a rebellion against the company by figuring out how to break that brain barrier in the outside world.
In ‘Severance’ season 2, Mark and his friends not only get to know about the disturbing truths about themselves but also learn of the dire consequences of messing with the severance barrier which gets them entangled even further.
