Justin Timberlake returns to acting with a drama movie ‘Palmer’ where he portrays an ex-con who forms an unlikely bond with Sam who comes from a troubled family. Justin Timberlake returns after what can be called a hiatus and the fans are absolutely loving the new avatar that he plays in this movie.
Society has always put labels or been weird around the things that have never aligned with their worldview and this forms the underlying theme of Palmer on Apple TV+.
“Kids are mean especially when they see something that they ain’t used to seeing.” Is one of the dialogues of this original apple film that will linger on long after you have seen the trailer and will make you question as to how did we get it so wrong.
The film is the story of Eddie Palmer, who was a high school football star but was sent to prison for 12 years and is trying to adapt to life on the outside. While trying to get things back on tracks, he forms an unusual bond with Sam, whose mother left him. Palmer notices that the boy is very different from the others and slowly learns to take care of him.
No matter how talented we are and no matter where we come from one wrong mistake can make a huge difference in our lives. Life can be cruel like that, but it always gives us a second chance at redemption, and Apple TV+’s Palmer is the embodiment of that.
Palmer will be streaming on Apple TV+ on 29th January.
