While the Bengali film industry is rocking with many uncertainties, mew announcements are not stopping. Only a few days back we got the release date for Dev’s much anticipated thriller Tekka, and today another one is announced.
The movie is titled ‘Aprakashito’ and it will be the story of a writer. The movie is directed by Soham Acharya and produced by Swarnali Acharya under the banner of Swarnali Entertainment.
The plot revolves around Amit Dutta, a renowned author who is very popular among readers but is facing allegations that his works are plagiarized. Soon some journalists start spreading the story that his novels are actually based on his own crimes. Amit Dutta decides to write a memoir where he justifies himself and elaborates how he became the victim of a conspiring plot. But before the book is published, another mishap happens.
‘Aprakashito’ does not have any superstar in the lead but has some pretty good actors there. It had Jai Sengupta, Debaleena Dutta, Buddhadeb Bhattacharya, Rana Basu Thakur, Aryan Bhoumik and more. The music is composed by Soham Acharya himself.
The movie is getting its theatrical release tomorrow and there is no promotions at all. It is an independent project but still there needs to be more noise about it as the Bengali film industry is quite consistent with delivering good thrillers.
