The official trailer for ‘Apurva’ is out now. The movie stars Tara Sutaria In the titular role. This is probably her first movie as the solo lead. The movie, however, has a pretty strong supporting cast. Rajpal Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa are in important roles.
Apurva is directed by Nikhil Bhat and it tells the story of a tender girl who gets stuck in dire situations. Apurva, played by Tara Sutaria, is marrying the man of her dreams. And a few days before the marriage, Sid, the groom, has to go to Agra for some business. Apurva does not join him, but decides to surprise him after some days. But she is captured by some goons on the way and they do not intend to let her go. The monstrous ‘gundas’ loot trucks for their daily bread, and when they get hold of Apurva, they want to satisfy their lust. Apurva tries hard to escape while the police search for her in vain.
The plot looks somewhat similar to the NH10, let us see how different it is in the execution and style. NH10 was a pretty good movie and it will be difficult to match its level. The trailer is pretty good. Vishal Mishra has some songs in the movie which is all the better. If you like survival thrillers, you might like Apurva too.
Apurva is going to premiere on Disney+Hotstar on the 15th of November this year.
