Good news for Tamil movie fans. Arjun Das’ latest thriller ‘Rasavathi’ will be streaming on OTT soon. The movie will premiere on the 21st of June on Aha Tamil. The full title of the movie is ‘Rasavathi: The Alchemist’ and it had its theatrical release on the 10th of May this year.
The movie is written, directed and produced by Santhakumar. It has Arjun Das, Tanya, Ravichandran, Reshma Venkatesh and Sujith Shankar in leading roles.
The movie tells the story of Sadha Pandian, a formerly criminal doctor who lives a tranquil and peaceful life with his wife now. He practises in Kodaikanal, where Surya Joins as a hotel manager and the two grow a deep bond because of having similar traumas. But when police Inspector Parasuraj comes to the city, it does not go wel with the two of them. Parasuraj is malicious of the two and wants to punish Pandian for some ancient connection. Pandian struggles to understand what connection he has with the inspector. You will have to watch the movie to know the whole story. It is an amusing one time watch and you will jot regret watching it.
The cinematography of the movie is handled by Saravanan Ilavarasu and Shiva GRN. The music is composed by S. Thaman.
