Arjun Kapoor seems to be on a roll now-a-days. With his films releasing one after the other and garnering attention, the actor seems to be quite busy. Now, news has come in that Arjun Kapoor has signed yet another brand new film and this comes from the director of critically acclaimed movie “Section 375”, Ajay Bahl.
Ajay Bahl who has been working in two movies at the moment, seems to have his lead in Arjun Kapoor for one of his movies. The untitled movie is set to be a romantic thriller and will see Arjun Kapoor’s character opposite two heroines. The other movie Bahl has been working on is “Goodbye Freddy”, which recently made headlines as Kartik Aaryan was ousted from the movie.
According to the buzz around the movie, Ajay Bahl apparently was very much impressed by Kapoor’s performance in the recent movie “Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar”, which recently saw its OTT release through Amazon Prime Video. It was that performance that made him go for Arjun Kapoor for his upcoming romantic thriller, and Arjun Kapoor within no time signed up for this next film.
The movie is set to be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh. The idea at the moment is that the hero could be in a love triangle with the two leading heroines, but besides that nothing has been yet disclosed. Makers are planning to get it on the floor as soon as possible and at the moment are waiting for the Covid situations and the restrictions to settle down a bit.
With the recent news of Kartik Aaryan leaving Ajay Bahl’s upcoming movie, many have been confusing Arjun’s involvement with that of him replacing Kartik in “Freddy”. This is to make it clear that there are no updates on Freddy as of now, and Arjun Kapoor and Ajay Bahl’s project is a completely different one.
With Arjun being on board as the lead hero, the makers are on the lookout for the two heroines that will be starring opposite him.
