The official trailer for the second season of Bangladeshi crime thriller ‘Mohanagar‘ has been released now. The Hoichoi special is directed by Ashfaque Nipun, one of the best filmmakers or the Bangladeshi film industry. He had also directed the first season of the season. Mohanagar Season 2 will be coming to Hoichoi on the 20th of April this year.
The first season of the show ended with a cliffhanger and audiences have been waiting for the sequel ever since. Season 1 told the story of the events happening in one single night. Sub inspector Moloy Kumar gets an intel from one of his informers about a international criminal who is returning to the capital. He takes OC Harun with him in the search. On the other hand, the son of a rich and powerful businessman is caught by the police officers in a Hit-and-run case and the businessman sends a counselor to negotiate with Harun to leave him. Harun’s efforts to let him release go in vain when AC Shahaza comes to the spot.
The second season will continue the story further. The trailer shows OC Harun being escorted to some place on blindfold for being interrogated. Harun has to go through many unfavourable situations. Does he really deserve the consequences that are thrust upon him? You will have to watch the show to know that.
Mosharraf Karim is one of the best actors of Bangladesh and it is really a treat to the eyes to watch him perform. Apart from Mosharraf Karim the show stars actors like Shamol Mawla, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Q Nawshaba Ahmed, Dibya Jyoti, and Afsana Mimi and many others.
