Ashton Kutcher has joined the cast of Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy film ‘Your Place Or Mine’. He will star opposite Reese Witherspoon who is also producing the film through her Hello Sunshine company which she sold recently to a media company by Blackstone for $900 million. Although she will join the board of the new company and see day-to-day operations.
Aline Brosh McKenna (‘THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’, ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’) has written the original script for ‘Your Place Or Mine’ and will also be making her feature directorial debut with the film.
In ‘Your Place Or Mine’, two long-distance best friends change each other’s lives when she decides to pursue a lifelong dream and he volunteers to keep an eye on her teenage son.

Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan will produce the film through Aggregate Films, as part of their first-look deal with Netflix, alongside Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine and McKenna for Lean Machine.
‘Your Place Or Mine’ is one of the two romantic comedy features that Witherspoon and her company Hello Sunshine agreed to produce as part of a deal signed with Netflix. The other film, also starring Witherspoonin the lead, is ‘The Cactus’. It is based on Sarah Haywood’s New York Times Bestselling novel of the same name.
