Box Office is not being considerate of Ajay Devgn films. The star was once known for high-grossing films but his latest filmography (except Shaitaan) raises serious doubts about the star’s ability to pull masses towards the big screens.
His latest film Maidaan, despite good reviews, emerged as a pathetic flop. His next is a romantic drama called Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. It is supposed to be on an epic scale with a story spanning over two decades. However, when you watch the trailer and through the trailer look at the production value then you realise that it is worse than a TV series.
Another factor is that Kalki 2898 AD is on a rampage mode and the Devgn film was supposed to be released in 2 days. This would have caused severe trouble for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
On top of everything, the makers seemed to be making no effort whatsoever for the promotion of the film. The film was almost an inevitable flop.
But, the makers have decided to postpone it. Yes, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha now stands postponed. They are yet to come up with any release date for the film.
It can be proved a worthwhile decision if Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is saved from becoming a disaster.
