The biggie, Avatar: The Way Of Water is getting ready with its digital release. Needless to say, this James Cameron magnum opus is one of the biggest films ever made and everything related to it is huge.
It successfully surpassed $2 Billion at the global box office and emerged as a huge commercial success. Well, after enjoying an unprecedented run at the box office, the film is getting ready for its digital release.
But there is something you need to keep in mind. Digital release in this case does not mean coming to regular streaming on any regular OTT platform. The film is owned by Disney so it will be coming on Disney+Hotstar in India after a while.
Here, the digital release means VOD. It means that the film will become available to purchase digitally on services like BMS Stream, Google Movies, Microsoft Store, etc.
This you will be able to do from the 28th of March. So, after theaters, makers are ready to encash fans on digital viewing.
