The first teaser for the upcoming Hindi film ‘Crew’ has finally been launched this afternoon. The crime and comedy caper releases in theatres on 29th March, 2024.
The ‘Crew’ teaser introduces us to the three leads of the movie – played by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon. The three ladies play air hostesses in Crew, who land up in unfortunate situations due to their hunger to achieve the impossible – a mid-air heist! Dressed to the hilt in flaming red air hostess uniforms, all three pack quite a punch in the Crew teaser.
Kapil Sharma makes an appearance in the Crew teaser, as a potential love interest for Tabu’s character. Or is he a mere scapegoat in the trio’s grandiose plans? Likewise for Rajesh Sharma’s character, who seems to be in on the girlies’ plan – whatever it is that they’re planning. We also get a glimpse of Diljit Dosanjh in the Crew teaser. Saswata Chatterjee is the only member of the primary cast that is missing in the teaser.
The synopsis for ‘Crew’ reads – “Three ordinary air hostesses from Mumbai embark on a journey to pursue their dreams but find themselves caught up in unexpected misfortunes.”
The movie is described as a delightful blend of humour, light-heartedness, and humanism. However, the ‘Crew’ teaser barely lives up to the hype of the synopsis or its description. It is dull and bland. Even the use of the iconic Madhuri Dixit number ‘Choli Ke Peechhe Kya Hai’ fails to enliven the Crew teaser.
The movie has been written and directed by Rajesh Krishnan. He’s earlier written and directed the hilarious movie ‘Lootcase’, for Disney Plus Hotstar, and the first season of TVF’s ‘Tipling’. Ekta Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor have produced ‘Crew’, under their banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network.
