Baahubali Fame Sathyaraj To Join Salman Khan’s ‘Sikander’ As Villain?

As per media reports, popular Tamil actor Sathyaraj has joined the cast of Salman Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Sikander’. He will be playing the main Villain of the movie.

Sathyaraj has starred in countless movies in various industries including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. His popular movies are ‘Kovai Brothers’, ‘Mersal’, ‘Rickshaw Mama’, ‘Walter Vetrivel’, ‘Mr. Bharath’, ‘Chennai Express’ etc. But he gained nationwide popularity for his portrayal of Kattappa in the two Baahubali movies. His performance was lauded by audiences and critics as well.

Sathyaraj is joining as the villain in the movie, which brings huge excitement to fans. This will be the third Hindi movie in his career after ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’. However, it is said that the upcoming film ‘Munjya’ too has Sathyaraj in a role.

The movie is being directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The combo of Nadiadwala and Salman Khan has proved to be Hilarious for many films. And this will be the first time the star will be working with the director of ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Spyder’. Murugadoss has said, “In addition to high-octane action sequences, it will be packed with emotions and also carry a powerful social message. It will be a pan-India film. Audiences can expect to see a new kind of Salman Khan in this film.”

The action thriller is slated to release on Eid next year.
