‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ Bags Second Highest RT Score Of The Franchise!

As surprising as it might be, the action and comedy genres often go hand in hand. So much so, that some of the most famous film franchises have been a culmination of them. Especially the ‘Bad Boys’ film series that began in 1995.

Created by George Gallo and distributed by Columbia Pictures, the American buddy cop action comedy films star actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as the lead detective duo of the Miami Police Department, Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

The latest title in the series, ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ has officially premiered to positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes ahead of the film’s global theatrical release. Praised for its chemistry between Smith and Lawrence, over-the-top action, and direction, the film has debuted with a 70% Tomatometer score.

Not only does this fall in line with the franchise trend of low critical but high audience ratings, the feature seems to have delivered another memorable performance by the dynamic signature duo. Moreover, the movie seems to be just what action fans have come to expect!

With only 60 reviews up, the film has also received its fair share of criticism as many point out that the franchise is surviving solely on the fumes of nostalgia.

Catch the title in theatres from June 7 to see for yourself!
