BAFTA Awards 2024: Complete List Of Winners

The British Academy Of Film And Television Arts honoured the best in cinema at the 77th BAFTA Awards this evening. The BAFTA Awards 2024 took place at the Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre in London. Doctor Who star David Tennant hosted this year’s BAFTAs, his first time ever of hosting the awards.

Several high profile movies were in the running for the BAFTAs, with Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenhiemer’ the frontrunner with 13 nominations, the highest of the year. Poor Things was next with 11 nominations.

As expected, Oppenheimer grabbed the most wins at the BAFTAs 2024 – seven in all – including crucial ones such as Best Film, Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Actor for Cillian Murphy. It was the first every BAFTA Award for both long-time frequent collaborators.

Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe starrer ‘Poor Things’ came in next with 5 BAFTA wins, including the Best Leading Actress win for Emma Stone.

Sadly, several high profile films failed to get a single award tonight, the most prominent ones being Killers Of The Flower Moon and Barbie.

Our very own Deepika Padukone made India proud by being an award presenter at the BAFTAs 2024. She presented the award for the ‘Film Not In The English Language’, which was won by German film, ‘The Zone Of Interest’, directed by Jonathan Glazer.
