One of the most critically acclaimed web-originals to have released this year, Barot House is continuing to win over its online spectators by the day. We’ve come to hear that the director of Barot House, Bugs Bhargava, already an acclaimed theatre person and ad-filmmaker, will next be seen in BBC’s adaptation of ‘The Suitable Boy’ in a quirky role.
“The cast of the series has just met for a script hearing. I am quite excited about it. Meanwhile, I have written the story for another web-series that will stream on an OTT platform soon. It’s a cop drama in the making. I won’t be directing it though,” he had added.
Overwhelmed by the appreciation he’s received for Barot House, the director feels that the digital medium has helped storytellers make their dream projects with little hassle. “I have been trying to make a film for many years. Thanks to Zee5 that it was finally possible.”
