Priyanshu Chatterjee’s first crossover Indo-British film ‘Barun Rai and the House on the Cliff’ that released in UK cinemas on 29th October earlier this year, is finally making its way to the Indian OTT platform Eros Now. Eros Now has revealed that the film will start streaming on the platform from 28th January onwards. You can watch the film’s trailer below which was attached along with the announcement. The full trailer for the movie will be unveiled by Eros Now on 13th January 2022.
Helmed by Sam Bhattacharjee, ‘Barun Rai and the House on the Cliff’ is a psychological horror thriller movie that follows the story of a newly married couple Harmesh (Sid Makkar) and Soumili (Nyra Banerjee) who relocate to a seemingly perfect new house. However, the goings-on take an adverse turn when the couple begins to experience strange and mysterious phenomena. Now, only one person can help them – paranormal expert Barun Rai (played by Priyanshu Chatterjee).
‘Barun Rai and the House on the Cliff’ is the directorial debut of Sam Bhattacharjee, who has previously been associated in the visual effects department in films such as Akshay Kumar starrer sports drama ‘Gold’, Vidya Balan’s ‘Shakuntala Devi’, and Kunal Deshmukh’s ‘Shiddat’, amongst others.
While Priyanshu Chatterjee made his Hindi film debut with Anubhav Sinha’s critically acclaimed directorial debut ‘Tum Bin’ (2001) and thereafter starred in movies like ‘Pinjar’, ‘Bhootnath’, ‘Hate Story 2’, and ‘Baadshaho’, to name a few. Besides Bollywood films, the talented and good-looking actor has also lent his acting skills to some Bengali films as well.
