Bastar: The Naxal Story synopsis
The film’s summary states that raising the national flag in Bastar, the very center of independent India is illegal under Maoist rule and is punishable by death. Known as Maoists or Naxals, radical leftists in India have destroyed state property valued at billions of dollars and killed thousands of innocent people throughout the course of the previous fifty years. Some claim that Bastar: The Naxal Story is the most poignant tribute to India’s worst human tragedy since the country’s independence.
Sen claims that Adah, who plays IPS Neerja Madhavan in the movie, went to Bastar to ask Danteswari Mata, the most venerated deity in the area, for her blessings. The inhabitants of Bastar think that all auspicious endeavors require the blessings of Danteswari Mata.
He went on to claim that Adah was interested in meeting women from the CRPF and Chhattisgarh police who were engaged in real-world combat as well as learning the fundamentals of jungle warfare and handling weapons.
