The first trailer for ‘Batman: Caped Crusader’ is out now. And it is worth all the hype. It is a Prime Video original and will premiere on the platform on the 1st day of August.
The show is described as the ‘reimagining of the Batman mythology’ and comes from highly enthusiastic and trusted producers like Matt Reeves, J.J Abrams and Bruce Timm.
The trailer and the official description tell the classic tale of the city of Gotham which is degenerating and going to the dogs slowly but surely. Corruption has taken over and the people of power and position exploit the common man everyday, while no voice rises against them. Bruce Wayne, the billionaire orphan and the smart detective becomes the vigilante that the city is in need of. The police think of him as a criminal, and the criminals as enemy. The show will deal with the origin story of Batman once again. And there will be popular villains like Two-Face. Two Face will not be a supervillain here but a regular adversary who wants Batman destroyed.
The show is based in the 1940s, which excites the fans even more. Matt Reeves has already impressed DC fans with the wonderful ‘Batman’ starring Robert Pattinson. And now he comes with a beautifully animated Batman show. The show premieres on Prime Video on the 1st day of August.
