The official teaser for ‘Bazooka’ is out now. It stars Mamootty in the lead role and is directed by Deeno Dennis. This is Dennis’ directorial debut. Gautham Vasudev Menon plays an important role and it will be a treat for the fans to watch GVM and Mammootty together in a movie. Actors like Sidharth Bharthan, Babu Antony, Hakim Shahjahan, Bhama Arun, Divya Pillai and Sumith Naval are in other roles.
‘Bazooka’ will be a high octane action entertainer loaded with commercial elements. Gautham Vasudev Menon has been getting some great roles very recently and he very well deserves them. His role in Leo was wonderful and ‘Bazooka’ seems to go that way too.
The teaser starts with GVM eating popcorn inside a car while a gang fight unfolds outside. He plays a police officer and holds Mamootty’s character in high regard. The two are allies against gangs or something and it will be a fight of good versus bad. Mammootty has quite a massy avatar in the movie and considering his run at the box office in recent times, he is going to rock in this too.
‘Bazooka’ is produced by Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V. Abraham under the banner of Theatre of Dreams in collaboration with Vikram Mehra and Siddharth Anand Kumar of Yoodlee Films. The release date of the movie has not been revealed yet.
