Bear Grylls’ production house “The Nature Studios”, a joint venture with Banijay has started work on its first-ever scripted movie, which will be a reworked movie based on the classic “The Count of Monte Cristo”.
The movie is based around two Special Forces soldiers, it will show their friendship and will focus on the bitter rivalry amongst them as they are deployed in a war in Afghanistan. The creators have now found the perfect, visionary director for the movie too. Francis Annan, who last directed the movie “Escape from Pretoria” starring stars like Daniel Radcliffe and Daniel Webber in the lead, will also head Bear Grylls’ upcoming movie.
The movie will be produced by Bear Grylls himself, along with Pure Grass’ Ben Grass and Cristophe Charlier. The script of the movie is penned by Tom Williams. It is a known fact that Bear Grylls has had his time in the military and has been part of various missions. The man will be the perfect person to guide the team into creating this movie and making it as raw and real as possible.
His experience in the military will definitely be something that will come in handy for the team.
