Last month we got the trailer for Kill. It was a nice trailer but nothing more than merely blood and killing. The film premiered last year at Toronto International Film Festival and garnered good reviews.
The Tribeca Festival, happening in 2024, has announced its lineup of movies, and one of them is “Kill,” the action-packed film releasing on the 5th of July. Directed and written by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, this movie is all about a fierce fight on a train heading to New Delhi.
In “Kill,” two soldiers have to defend the train against 40 attackers. It’s a non-stop battle full of gore and action. The movie is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain, and stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala.
Other than Kill, there are 103 movies from 48 countries. The festival takes place in New York City from June 5-16.
It is a really nice thing that Kill is creating an international buzz for itself before arriving in India. This way, Dharma can bank on the international reception of the film and perhaps it would benefit them as well. But, it is all a matter of content. Let’s hope that the Indian audience is also receptive to the film and then only it would have a respectable box office collection.
