The first season of Showtime’s premium television series ‘Dexter’ starring Michael C. Hall in the titular role debuted way back in July 2007 while the much-criticized eighth season concluded in the year 2013. All eyes are now on Dexter’s new season titled ‘Dexter: New Blood’ which is being touted as the show’s revival season.

So, as you can observe from our season’s ranking of the Dexter series, the fourth season has topped the list while equally unsurprisingly, Dexter’s eighth season is the least ranked season as per our list.
The fourth season also marked the presence of Dexter’s most formidable nemesis – the dreaded trinity killer. The role was beautifully essayed by veteran actor John Lithgow, who is all set to make a comeback in ‘Dexter: New Blood’ most likely in the form of flashbacks (like Jennifer Carpenter’s Debra Morgan).
‘Dexter: New Blood’ is expected to commence streaming in India on the Voot Select OTT platform from 8th November onwards. And as per the current buzz and the official trailer, we are hopeful that ‘Dexter: New Blood’ will revive the lost glory and might turn out to be as good as the top-ranked Season-4, or who knows, might even surpass it.
